Manchester Derby: Jose Mourinho vs Pep Guardiola

It has been tagged the most expensive derby, the Manchester derby is the game to watch this weekend and the attractions of the game have gone a notch higher with Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho at the helms of the Manchester teams.

The reverse fixture at Old Trafford ended in a goalless draw but a lot has changed since then, Manchester United go into the game with a reinvigorated strike-force,  Zlatan Ibrahimovic joins Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial in attack while Paul Pogba anchors from the middle. Pep Guardiola will be without prolific Sergio Kun Aguero who was suspended after elbowing Winston Reid but will have the service of Nolito, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Raheem Sterling.

Pep’s possessive style of play will be a key battle for the United midfield who will be looking towards tenacious Paul Pogba for answers to that puzzle while Citeh will have to deal with United’s aerial threats and pacey movements. Eric Bailly faces yet his biggest test in the club jersey and a test to stamp his name on the lips of the red fans.

It’s a game that is bound to have everything from cards to controversies, comic acts from the touchline, great atmosphere, boos ringing and a great game of football.

Manchester United 2-2 Manchester City.
