Odion Ighalo and Isaac Success (Watford)

Ighalo played almost all 90 minutes of the encounter against the Red Devils but was replaced by fellow Nigerian Isaac Success who played the remaining 5 minutes of added time.

Victor Moses and John Mikel Obi (Chelsea)

Victor Moses came on as an 88th-minute substitute for Willian as they lost to Liverpool. Mikel was not called up for the game.

Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City)

Kelechi played all game, grabbing a goal assisted by Raheem Sterling. He returned the favour by assisting Sterling for City’s 3rd goal of the game.

Ahmed Musa (Leicester City)

Musa was an unused sub in Leicester 3-0 win over Burnley.

Alex Iwobi (Arsenal)

Iwobi got off to a wonderful start in the game when his goal-bound shot was deflected into the net by Alexis for Arsenal’s first. He also assisted Arsenal’s second of the day when he played Theo Walcott in with a deft backheel. He was taken off in the 77th minute for Mohamed Elneny.

Abdullahi Nura (Roma)

A knee injury prevented Nura from becoming available for the match.

Leon Balogun (Mainz)

Balogun played all 90 minutes as Mainz shocked Augsburg at home.

Vincent Enyeama (Lille)

Enyeama was in goal all game in Lille’s 1-0 loss to Lorient. Moukandjo slotted his penalty past Enyeama in the 76th minute.

Bartholomew Ogbeche (Willem II)

Ogbeche came on in the 89th minute for Erik Falkenburg in their 1-1 draw against Excelsior.

Taiwo Awoniyi (NEC)

Awoniyi started NEC’s 1-0 loss to Sparta Rotterdam. He was replaced in the 46th minute by Reagy Ofusu.

Abdul Ajagun (Roda)

Ajagun played 34 minutes of the game against Heerenveen. He was booked for a foul in the 29th minute and 5 minutes later, he got his marching orders.

Olarenwaju Kayode (Austria Wien)

Kayode played from the start and was replaced in the 79th minute as they lost 4-1 to Salzburg.

Chukwuemeka Onyekuru, Anthony Bassey and George Gamabo (Eupen)
